Summary
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst contributes and participates in Company’s financial reporting obligations and overall compliance with GAAP and the Company’s internal accounting policies. The candidate will assist with the preparation and filing of all quarterly and annual SEC filings as well as other applicable statutory filings for subsidiaries (domestic and international), and other government reporting requests, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of external financial filings (10-Q, 10-K, proxy, press releases and other SEC filings)
- Assist with preparation of statutory filings and other government reporting requests
- Assist with the review of revenue contracts under ASC 606
- Prepare monthly corporate accounting entries (i.e., ASC 842 Lease Accounting)
- Facilitate in identifying and implementing process improvements related to financial reporting duties
- Assist with external and internal audit requests
- Research technical accounting issues and provide accounting policy considerations
- Assist with providing support during due diligence process for any potential equity offerings, debt offerings or other transactions
- Special projects as new accounting and business requirements arise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA
- Experience with Workiva WDesk
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC Reporting requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy are highly important
